Kelley E. Scrocca
Kelley is an expert in estate planning, trusts, high-net-worth planning, asset protection planning, gift tax, generation-skipping, trust administration and probate. She has an LL.M. in Estate Planning and has worked exclusively in this area of law for 20 years. Her services range from simple wills, powers of attorney and living wills to incorporation of more complex trusts, addressing special needs, formation of LLC’s or other business entities and transfer of assets. She also has experience forming non-profits, private foundations and helping to establish scholarships and endowments. Each estate plan is tailored to the individual client’s personal situation, their goals, their family dynamics and individual assets. Kelley is licensed to practice law in seven states.

- Represented numerous high-net worth individuals and business owners to establish plans and legacy trusts saving them and their heirs millions in federal and state estate and income taxes.
- Represented a non-profit organization through a detailed IRS audit looking into inappropriate spending.
- Presented a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork to the IRS art advisory panel to obtain proper valuation for donative purposes.
- Assisted numerous farm and ranch owners in South Dakota through the unique aspects of estate planning and passing on these assets and business to the next generation.
- Assisted with the formation of a large family foundation to allow many branches of this family to pool assets and achieve their philanthropic goals presently and long-term.
- Represented well-known U.S. Congressmen.
- Served as the attorney for large banks and trust companies to review trust documents prior to the fiduciary becoming trustee.
