Vadim Trifel
Vadim Trifel is a litigation attorney at Hellmuth & Johnson, focusing his practice on all aspects of civil litigation, with a special emphasis on complex insurance coverage litigation. Vadim has represented clients in multi-million dollar disputes involving lost or missing comprehensive general liability (CGL) policies. Vadim’s practice has focused on obtaining insurance to provide payment for claims of sexual abuse, asbestos exposure, and life and property coverage.
Vadim represents individuals, businesses, trusts and religious organizations. He has argued and won both in State and Federal court, as well as at the trial and appellate levels. He enjoys all aspects of litigation and has a deep respect for the process that leads to a just resolution for his clients.
Vadim obtained his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN. He is admitted to practice in the State Court of Minnesota and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He earned his B.A from the University of Minnesota, with a double major in Political Science and Sociology of Law and Crime and Deviance.

- Argued and won a landmark case before the Minnesota Supreme Court involving the recovery of attorneys’ fees.
