Neither Wolf nor Dog, the five-star film by acclaimed author Kent Nerburn and longtime Hellmuth & Johnson client, has been generating excitement and attention across the country. H&J attorney Terry Moore helps Mr. Nerburn negotiate rights agreements for his books and stories.
In addition to theatrical runs throughout the nation, locally Neither Wolf nor Dog is currently playing at Marcus Elk River Cinema. Additionally, Lagoon Cinema in Minneapolis will show the film beginning May 19. The movie has been well-received and continues to generate positive reviews and media coverage. In fact, it made front page news of the Variety section of the May 1 edition of the Star Tribune.
Nerburn is the editor of fourteen books on spiritual values and Native American themes. The movie is based on his award winning book Neither Wolf nor Dog: On Forgotten Roads with an Indian Elder, which won the Minnesota Book award for creative non-fiction and has become a standard part of the multi-cultural curriculum in high schools, colleges, and universities across the United States.
Of Neither Wolf nor Dog, the American Indian College fund said, “This is one of those rare works that once you’ve read it, you can never look at the world, or at people, the same way again.”
The film’s world premiere was at the oldest continuously running film festival in the world, the Edinburgh International Film Festival. View the trailer at https://vimeo.com/117451913 and learn more about show times and other updates at https://www.facebook.com/neitherwolfnordog/.
