MINNEAPOLIS, MN – (July 29, 2020) – Hellmuth & Johnson is pleased to announce that attorney Michael D. Klemm has been appointed Chairman of the Public Policy Committee of the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce, effective June 30, 2020. The Public Policy Committee identifies issues, conducts research, and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors to assist the Chamber to serve as the voice of business through bold public policy and advocacy.
Klemm is a partner in Hellmuth & Johnson’s Real Estate group, where he draws on his background as a city attorney and his experience chairing a planning commission and board of adjustment and appeals to assist clients with complex issues involved in acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, and development of residential and commercial real estate. He is an MSBA Certified Real Property Law Specialist.
In addition to his legal work, Klemm has served as President of the Minnesota Chapter of Community Associations Institute (“CAI”), Chairman of CAI’s Minnesota Legislative Action Committee, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce.
