On February 10, 2015, Kate Andresen will be co-hosting a roundtable for the Minnesota State Bar Association discussing the topic of “IP 101: What Your Clients Need to Know and When.”
This Roundtable will present a brief IP 101 snapshot typically provided to new clients. The Roundtable discussion will focus on how you take that basic information and use it to guide your clients in assessing the costs, timing and prioritization of protecting your clients IP. The discussion will continue with how this IP assessment, prioritization and client guidance changes as the client moves from a start-up, to the 3-5 year old business, to a sophisticated client with 10 years plus in business.
The Roundtable will be co-hosted by Kate Andresen, Partner at Hellmuth & Johnson, PLLC and Dan Tysver, Partner at Beck & Tysver, PLLC.
The Computer and Technology Section Council will meet at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and the CLE at Noon.
