Kate Andresen to speak at the Computer & Technology Law Institute

Kate Andresen will be speaking at the Computer & Technology Law Institute on November 18, 2014. She will be presenting on “Clearing Up the Cloud: Tips and Tools for Cloud Computing”. Kate Andresen will speak on a practical assessment of business and legal risks in cloud computing agreements. From ASP to SaaS arrangements, services provided using the flexibility of cloud-based servers can generate cost efficiencies, but how do both sides deal with the business and legal risks created by the cloud environment? Tips for negotiating the risk elements will be provided along with practical “tools,” including specific contract clauses to address the risks created by cloud computing.
