Corporate/M&A. I enjoy the collaborative yet competitive environment of deal work; no 2 deals are the same.

When did you decide you wanted to be a lawyer?
When I was working as a CPA and realized I wanted to learn more about the legal aspects of transactions.
What would you be doing if you weren’t a lawyer?
I would be a farmer.

Keosauqua, Iowa.
What is a recent good book you read?
Pappyland (book about booze but really about being a father).
What advice would you give to the young version of yourself who is just entering law school?
Calm down.
