Edell has been elected by the Hennepin County Bar Association (HCBA) Board of Directors to serve as an HCBA Representative on the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Assembly. The Assembly formulates the policy positions of the MSBA. Its specific functions include governance, legislative activities, policy, and elections/appointments. The Assembly is composed of 132 representatives from across the state.
Edell is an associate attorney in Hellmuth & Johnson’s Litigation practice group. Jack represents businesses and individuals in litigation matters spanning diverse areas of law, including banking and lending, commercial and residential real estate transactions, construction litigation, business litigation, trademark litigation, repossession, contract disputes, and insurance coverage disputes. Since 2023, Jack has co-authored chapters in preeminent Minnesota Deskbooks on topics of priorities of insurance coverage and structured settlement agreements. He earned his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, cum laude, and his B.A. in Biochemistry from Saint John’s University. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin State Courts.
