Accounting/ Practice Area Administrative Assistant

Hellmuth & Johnson, PLLC a growing Edina law firm, has an immediate opening for a full-time administrative assistant working with our accounting and homeowner association practice area in our Edina location. Position will be primarily responsible for maintaining the E-bill database, processing credit card payments, assisting clients with issues, performing follow-ups with clients/third parties and draft form letters.  Must be very detail oriented. Must have general office and Microsoft Word/Excel experience. Legal experience or legal class room training preferred. Team environment. Good salary and benefits. Send resume to Human Resources. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain the master E-bill database
  • Process Credit Card Payments
  • Assist clients with payment and E-bill issues
  • Back-up accounting department with monthly upload and organize daily payments, as needed
  • Answer client calls re: payments and E-bill questions
  • Follow-ups with clients, third parties re: demand letters, signed documents, etc.
  • Draft form letters
  • Submit documents for recording
  • Open ballot/consent mail and update spreadsheet
  • Scanning projects
  • Data entry
