Chris Grecian is a litigator with experience representing clients ranging from individuals to multinational corporations in their litigation disputes. Chris always aims to help his clients resolve disputes prior to the commencement of litigation, but remains ready to forcefully litigate his clients cases when it becomes necessary. His clients appreciate his responsiveness, attentiveness, and efficiency in working with them on their cases.
Chris has experience litigating asset purchase agreements, software licensing agreements, commercial loans, commercial leases, partnership agreements, franchise agreements, restrictive covenants, settlement agreements, consulting/other service agreements, and various other contracts. He also has experience litigating business torts (fraud, defamation, interference with prospective business advantage, etc.) and Minnesota statutory claims.
Chris joins Hellmuth & Johnson after 17 years of litigating business and commercial disputes at several other Minneapolis and St. Paul area law firms.
Chris earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois-Chicago and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota. Before that, he served more than six years in the United States Navy as a nuclear-trained Machinist Mate, including four years onboard the submarine USS San Francisco (SSN-771). Chris is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
