Elizabeth Runde focuses her practice primarily in the areas of commercial real estate, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, and real estate development. Elizabeth has over five years of experience as a real estate attorney, having successfully guided clients through real estate title closings from start to finish. She leverages her first-hand title insurance experience to provide comprehensive legal counsel and advice to clients.
Elizabeth has extensive experience in all matters real estate closing related, including construction underwriting. She has experience reviewing real estate and construction agreements, including development agreements between general contractors and developers. Elizabeth enjoys helping clients understand the complexities of real estate transactions, working through title and survey issues, and navigating the related risks so that they can make informed business decisions. She is a trusted advisor to clients in real estate transactions and understands the importance of her client’s objectives.
Elizabeth received her B.A. from the University of St. Thomas with a major in Marketing and her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she served as an Associate Editor on the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Prior to joining Hellmuth & Johnson, Elizabeth was counsel for a Title Insurance Company.
Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Iowa.
