Jennifer A. Rutz
Jen Rutz is an attorney at Hellmuth & Johnson, focusing her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and small business.
In her previous work as a solo practitioner (and as a small business owner herself), she recognized the importance of supporting small business owners in their endeavors not only to build a successful business but also to create a legacy that they may one day leave to their children or grandchildren. She continues those efforts at Hellmuth & Johnson, cultivating long-term relationships with clients and continuing to be a resource to them well beyond the completion of her legal services. Furthermore, she enjoys working with individuals and families of all shapes and sizes, assisting them to meet their estate planning goals, no matter how large or small.
Jen obtained her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. She is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Minnesota. She earned her B.A. from the University of St. Thomas with a major in Business Marketing and a minor in Spanish. Jen is an active member of the Minnesota Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association. She is a volunteer attorney with Cancer Legal Care and spends time quarterly as an attorney volunteer at the Hopkins Senior Center.
