Nicklaus A. Johnson
Nicklaus Johnson is an attorney who represents individuals and businesses in a wide variety of areas: his practice includes business, real estate, and construction matters, among others. He represents clients at all stages of a dispute, from pre-litigation through appeals and beyond. Additionally, he helps clients avoid litigation by providing advice on how to navigate legal challenges and pitfalls.
Nicklaus is committed to providing first-class legal representation to his clients, and he prides himself on effectively and efficiently defending his clients’ interests and achieving their goals. His primary strengths are his attention to detail, responsiveness, work ethic, and zealous advocacy on behalf of his clients.
Nicklaus earned a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, summa cum laude, from St. Olaf College, where he made the Dean’s List every semester and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He then earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he made the Dean’s List four times and received the Dean’s Award (highest grade in the class) in “Lawyering Skills” and “Evidence.” In law school, he worked for Hellmuth & Johnson as a law clerk and served as a Senior Editor on the University of St. Thomas Law Journal and as a research assistant to a professor. He was also a legal extern for a judge on the Minnesota Court of Appeals and for a mid-sized, family-owned business.
