Hellmuth & Johnson is pleased to announce attorney Jack F. Edell has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation practice group.
Edell represents businesses and individuals in diverse areas of law, including construction, repossession, wrongful death, contract disputes, commercial transportation, and insurance coverage disputes. He has experience in every stage of litigation, including both jury and bench trials. He is an avid member of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, where he presented on Minnesota’s Survivorship Statute and trial considerations for wrongful death actions. He also co-authored chapters in Minnesota Deskbooks on topics of priorities of insurance coverage and structured settlement agreements.
Edell obtained his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, cum laude, and his B.A. in Biochemistry from Saint John’s University. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin State Courts.
