Hulwi’s practice is focused on estate planning and estate and gift taxation. He prepares wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives. He works with his clients to minimize potential estate and gift tax exposure, often implementing strategies involving various types of irrevocable trusts. He is certified to perform business valuations by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts® as a Certified Valuation Analyst®. This designation is the world’s premiere valuation credential and is the only valuation credential accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies®, and the ANSI National Accreditation Board®. He has also earned his Certified Kingdom Advisor® designation granted by Kingdom Advisors®. He is on The Best Lawyers in America® list for Trusts and Estates, and the Minnesota Super Lawyers® list.
Hulwi obtained his L.L.M. from University of San Diego School of Law, J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law – University of Nevada Las Vegas, and B.S. from Minnesota State University – Mankato. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota, California, Nevada, and North Dakota State Courts.
