MINNEAPOLIS, MN – (July 16, 2020) – Hellmuth & Johnson is pleased to announce that Cole A. Hickman has been named a 2020 Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer. The annual listing honors lawyers who distinguish themselves in their first 10 years of practice through professional accomplishment, leadership, and service to the community and the legal profession.
Hickman is a member of Hellmuth & Johnson’s Estate Planning and Business Law teams. His clients range from individuals and families to businesses and business owners. He prepares succession plans for business owners and serves as outside general counsel for small to mid-size companies across a variety of industries. Individuals, families, and business owners rely on Hickman to prepare an array of estate planning and business succession documents. Hickman also engages in a variety of merger and acquisition activity for his clients.
Hickman is an active member of various groups, including the Minnesota, Hennepin County and American Bar Associations. He has served as a volunteer attorney for Wills for Heroes, assisting with the preparation of estate planning documents for first responders, including police officers, firefighters, EMTs and paramedics, corrections officers, and the spouses or widow/widowers of such personnel.
