Employees of Hellmuth & Johnson PLLC recently participated in two volunteer events: The Friends of the Edina Library Book Sale and Dress For Success.
At The Friends of the Edina Library Book Sale, employees unloaded and organized books, as well as sold books. During the Dress for Success campaign, employees brought in new or nearly new women’s suits (pants and skirts), blouses, shoes and other accessories that were donated to the program which helps women (re)entering the work force.
Friends of the Edina Library concentrate on the FUN in fundraising while they raise funds for the library, assist with programs and events, and sponsor special programs for children, teens, adults and seniors in their community. Friends are the extra hands and energy that connect the community to the library. They provide new ideas and advocate for the library and its services. They also accept book donations during open library hours.
Dress for Success is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to women transitioning from unemployment to self-sufficiency.
