Minnesota ENT has started to notify individuals affected by a recent email security data breach but has yet to indicate the details of the data breach and when it occurred. The notice states that six employee email accounts were accessed by an unauthorized third party that copied files of Minnesota ENT’s patients, that included highly sensitive personal information: names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, Social Security Numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, email addresses, financial account numbers, and some health-related information.
