Jacob E. Lanthier
Jacob Lanthier is a litigator representing clients in myriad areas of law, including business litigation, probate litigation, construction defects, and shareholder rights. Jacob also has experience with matters involving insurance defense, personal injuries, family law, and disability claims. Jacob has experience representing clients before Federal Agencies, in District Court, and in arbitration. His broad knowledge of the law positions him in a unique position to advocate for and counsel clients involved in litigation. Jacob attended the University of Minnesota for both his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor degree. While in Law School, Jacob clerked for several small law firms as well as the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office. Further, he trained in both the University of Minnesota’s Civil Practice Clinic and Federal Tax Clinic representing clients in family law matters, unemployment appeals, and tax disputes.

Experience
- Obtained a Dismissal with Prejudice for an international engineering firm in a District Court lawsuit brought by a logistics company alleging unpaid invoices.
- Obtained complete Summary Judgment for international media company in a toxic tort matter alleging exposure to asbestos in component devices.
- Represented an international corporation in various matters related to talc used in manufacturing beauty products.
