Hellmuth & Johnson is pleased to announce attorney Jacob Goetz has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Construction Law and Real Estate Litigation practice groups.
Prior to joining the firm, Goetz practiced workers’ compensation defense, representing employers and insurers from the initiation of litigation through appellate work. Before entering the legal profession, he spent nearly a decade as a medical claims specialist with a large insurance company, where he evaluated claims for fraud and coverage issues, conducted investigations, and reviewed medical records, legal correspondence, and insurance agreements.
Goetz earned his J.D., cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he received CALI Awards in Negotiation and Energy Law. He holds a B.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He is admitted to practice in the Minnesota State Courts.
