Tamsett have been certified as Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Real Property Law Specialists. The MSBA offers board certification in Real Property Law to attorneys who have met rigorous criteria, demonstrating their expertise and experience in this specialized field. Fewer than 3% of licensed attorneys in Minnesota are certified as specialists in their field by the MSBA. Hellmuth & Johnson has eight Real Property Law Specialists in its Real Estate practice group.

To achieve this certification, attorneys must have substantial practice experience in real property law, pass a comprehensive written examination, and receive favorable peer evaluations. Tamsett is a transactional attorney with a dual practice in M&A and Real Estate. Her dual practice allows her to offer comprehensive services to her clients without the inefficiencies of multiple legal advisers. She focuses her practice on issues faced by corporate clients, closely held businesses, investors, and high-net-worth individuals, in acquisitions, dispositions, and transactions. Her experience includes the general representation of start-up and existing companies, stock, real estate and asset acquisitions and dispositions, exploitation and protection of intellectual property rights, and non-competition restrictions.

Byrne provides advisement on commercial and residential real estate matters such as purchase and sales, leasing, community associations governance, and lien foreclosure.
