Darbie Blacksmith is a Minnesota M&A and commercial real estate attorney at Hellmuth & Johnson, advising business owners, investors, entrepreneurs, and companies on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, and strategic growth opportunities.

Recognized for her experience in sophisticated transactional matters, Darbie represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, business purchases and sales, entity structuring, commercial real estate transactions, development projects, investment transactions, financing transactions, and complex contract negotiations. She guides clients through every stage of a transaction, from due diligence and deal structuring through negotiation, closing, and post-transaction planning.

Darbie also advises companies operating in highly regulated industries, including cannabis businesses, on real estate and transactional matters such as commercial leasing, purchase options, property acquisition strategies, and business structuring. Her combination of M&A experience, commercial real estate knowledge, and understanding of regulated markets allows her to provide strategic counsel for complex and evolving business opportunities.
