DocGo Data Breach Investigation

DocGo Inc. (“DocGo”) recently confirmed that an unauthorized third party gained access to and acquired its patients’ highly sensitive protected health information records stored on its IT infrastructure in a data breach. DocGo, is an on-demand medical transportation and telemedicine company that offers mobile health services, ambulance services, and remote monitoring for patients in thirty states across the U.S., and also in the United Kingdom.

After confirming that a data breach had occurred involving certain of DocGo’s systems and networks, DocGo launched an investigation with the assistance of a third-party cybersecurity expert. DocGo has now started the process of providing notification to the individuals whose highly sensitive protected health information was exfiltrated and acquired by third-party cybercriminals.
