Family Law
No two family law matters are the same. In order to be an effective advocate for you, we want to learn about your unique situation and identify your goals. For that reason, we work hard to build relationships with our clients so that we may pursue an outcome tailored to our client’s individual circumstances.
Throughout the process, we will discuss the events that led to your particular family law matter, what to expect from the legal process, your goals (both short-term and long-term) and the most effective ways to achieve those goals. We pride ourselves in providing honest, knowledgeable advice so that you are empowered to make well-informed decisions.
Having the assistance of a skilled practitioner is essential for reaching a fair resolution to your family matter. We have years of experience helping families throughout Minnesota, the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin through a variety of family law matters, including:
- Divorce, Contested & Uncontested
- Post-Divorce Action & Modification
- Child Custody & Parenting Time
- Child Support
- Spousal Maintenance/Alimony
- Orders for Protection
- Paternity
- Mediation & Neutral Services
- Marital Property Division
- Nonmarital Claims
- Crafting Marital Agreements Before or During Marriage

Given our many years of serving clients, we understand the types of challenges you will face and are committed to providing you with our guidance, expert negotiation skills, and zealous advocacy.
Mediation
Not all mediators are created equal, and the mediator you choose to work with can have a significant impact on the outcome of your case. For this reason, it is incredibly important that you choose a mediator that is well-equipped to handle your unique family situation. Our firm has mediators which are both qualified Mediators and experienced Family Law attorneys, bringing years of courtroom and family law experience to the mediation table. We put our legal and negotiation skills to work helping both parties to come to an agreement which will best serve everyone involved in a timely, cost effective and cooperative manner.
