Amanda K. Linden
Amanda Linden is an associate attorney representing clients across various practice groups at Hellmuth & Johnson including construction and lien law, homeowners associations, and litigation. Amanda aims to provide her clients with not only the best representation in the courtroom, but also to utilize her extensive practical knowledge in the legal field to reach the best outcome for all involved. Such representation led to Amanda being named a Raising Star in 2022 by Minnesota Super Lawyers®.
Prior to joining the Hellmuth & Johnson team, Amanda represented a variety of clients focusing on lien law and creditor rights for both contractors and homeowner associations. Amanda has represented clients at all levels of litigation both in State and Federal Court including insurance disputes, construction defect litigation, mechanics’ lien foreclosures, assessment lien foreclosures, pre-appraisal award interest, residential matching disputes with insurance companies, real property disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and general civil litigation to name a few.
Amanda graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, magna cum laude, where she was on the William Mitchell Law Review and also participated in the Rosalie E. Wahl Moot Court Competition. Amanda is licensed to practice in Minnesota, Colorado, and Wisconsin State Courts, as well as the United States District Courts for both Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Experience
- Successfully argued on behalf of Discover Bank before the Minnesota Court of Appeals regarding contract formation and accord and satisfaction.
- Obtained large pre-judgment interest award against national insurance company on an appraisal award.
- Successfully represented contractor client in Department of Labor and Industry Dispute regarding terms and conditions of an insurance proceeds contract.
- Recorded mechanics’ lien against large commercial property prior to Hennepin County assigning a legal description and prior to the vacant lot obtaining an address.
- Successfully enforced cancelation provision for 25% of contract price resulting in an almost six-figure award for contractor client.
